Wild Adventure Coban 2 day Rafting
Day 1
Private Transfer Guatemala – Cobán/Lanquín
280kms aprox. (5-6 hours)
Overnight in an ecofriendly hotel right on the Cahabon’s river edge. Dinner is included.
Day 2
We start at hotel “El retiro Lodge” at 9 oclok. We put in at tamax Ferry an hour from lanquin and after safety instruccion we slowly descend the middle cahobon though deatiful tropical scenary, watching nice birds and boating some continous class 3 rapids in the Gorge Towards Oxec bridge, from here we continue for another 2 hours with some callengin rapids to reach the take-out al takinko. Here we trasfer you to after Chulac Falls, a class 6 portage to our camp site where we eat drink, make a fire, have some fun and go to sleep.
Day 3
After Breakfast we run the really nice class 4 “lower Gorge” of the cahabon. A beatiful canyon and day with pools, cave formations and natural jacuzzi , a thermal sidestream, called, “The little Paraiso” at midday we arrive at the bridge of Cahoboncito, our take-out from where we trasport you back to lanquin after some nice cold drinks.
Lunch in lanquin and take our private transfer to Guatemala city

Day 1

Explore Lanquín Cave where water has carved the rock into beautiful and curious formations.
Overnight in an ecofriendly hotel right on the Cahabon’s river edge. Dinner is included.
Day 2
Transfer to the rafting launch site.
Receive hands on instructions for safe rafting procedures and plunge into the turquoise river water to start your rafting adventure.
Transfer back to Lanquín.
Your choice to relax in Lanquín or in the clear water of the 8th wonder of the world, Semuc Champey falls.
Overnight in an ecofriendly hotel right on the Cahabon’s river edge.

Day 3
Prepare yourself for a wet cave full of adventure. The Kan’ba caves were recently discovered and pose a challenging experience where you can swim in an underground river, climb a waterfall and, if you dare, jump into an underground pool. End your exciting day on the love swimg right on the river edge and return relaxed to your hotel aboard a tubbing train.
